She can smell his fear, like smoke from a campfire. Her mouth waters as she thinks of the meal she will soon receive...the warm blood that will cover her muzzle. Her paws begin to pound faster.
He hears the soft thumps along the ground, matching the beat of his heart...louder...louder...faster...faster...
A flash of brown blurs his vision.
Now he stares into a pair of Icy gray eyes..so full of death and murder...
